The product is a part of “Next Nature” studio’s “Nano Supermarket”, a storefront of speculative nanotech products capable of being mass produced within the next ten years.

Sto věci, které se letos vyplatí sledovat od J. Walter Thompson - projekt s podtitulem converting cultural shifts into opportunities. Prezentace je ke stažení na Slideshare (prohlížet může každý, ke stažení je zapotřebí bezplatná registrace). Jsou tam věci jako

• turistika v nebezpečných oblastech světa 
• hotelová patra vyhrazená ženám 
• aplikace pro seniory 
• IPO Facebooku 
• generace Z (narozená po roce 2000) 

a další. Něco z toho je očividné, něco chytré, něco asi pitomost, něco, co prostě nechápete... jak to má u podobných seznamů být. Zábava a inspirace, nikoli mapa. Hat tip Martin Kopta alias @atpok, díky!

Carr: e-knihy nemají žádný definitivní text

Dobrý postřeh Nicholase Carra v The Wall Street Journal o elektronických knihách:

An e-book, I realized, is far different from an old-fashioned printed one. The words in the latter stay put. In the former, the words can keep changing, at the whim of the author or anyone else with access to the source file. The endless malleability of digital writing promises to overturn a whole lot of our assumptions about publishing.

Text tištěné knihy je neměnný, u e-knihy to neplatí. Samozřejmost, ale domyslete to — a máte celý nový svět. Horší nebo lepší, to nevím.
